Community Development Professionals to Discuss Tax Reform for Transforming Low-Income Communities


About 600 community development professionals are expected to convene at the Novogradac New Markets Tax Credit Conference in New Orleans to deliberate on tax reform strategies.

The strategies will enable to make the New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) program permanent. It has also been announced that a community development investment NMTC funding soars to $8.5 billion to help in impacting low-income communities.

    Not your typically standing cafe, the Stables Cafe, which was set up by Glen Duckett from Thwaites pub the Eagle and Child Ramsbottom in Lancashire,  is a place where youths are being given second chances at life. These youths  have been long-term unemployed, homeless or have served juvenile detention.
