SIDS contribute less than 1 percent of the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions but are the most affected by the climate crisis.

The Antigua and Barbuda Accord, a transformative 10-year plan, was adopted at the 4th United Nations (UN) International Conference on SIDS in 2024.
