Virgin Group founder Sir Richard Branson has put his money where his mouth is in an attempt to fight climate change.
The airline's billionaire founder, who's been vocal about his environmental goals, has put his cash where his mouth is in an attempt to fight climate change, the Guardian reports.
"With collective action and the right policies in place, we can significantly reduce this potent greenhouse gas and take a significant step towards achieving our climate goals," says the chief executive of the World Wildlife Fund, which has partnered with Branson's Virgin Group to fight climate change.
According to the World Wildlife Fund's Re-Energizing the World report, published Tuesday, Branson's group has invested more than $10 million in efforts to reduce methane emissions, which contribute to climate change.
