The American Heart Association's Innovators Network has just added a new member: a digital health company called Aktivolabs.
As a member of the network, Aktivolabs will have access to the American Heart Association's digital guidelines, recommendations, and best-in-class science as it develops digital health technologies, per a press release.
"The Center aims to advance the rapid, efficient, and effective development of healthcare technology," says Dr. Robertarrington, chair of the American Heart Association's Health Tech Advisory Group.
"Aktivolabs is honored to be a member of the network."
Founded in 2017 by doctors and data scientists, Aktivolabs' mission is to prevent chronic diseases, per the press release.
Its flagship product, the Aktivo Score, measures the impact of daily physical activities and sleep on long-term health.
"This provides a single measure and a truly meaningful indicator of the healthiness of a physical lifestyle," says Aktivolabs CEO Gourab Mukherjee.
