HHS to Spend $450,000 Grants to Navajo Nation for Birth Control

The US Department of Health and Human Services will be spending $450,000 in grants to promote "long acting" contraceptives and "sterilization" birth control methods among the Navajo Nation's tribal lands.

The grants will help support Native American "individuals from low-income families." The Navajo Nation is the largest Native American jurisdiction in the US.
