Interactive Poverty Simulation to Understand Low-Income Family Struggles

The Center for Civic Engagement and the Office of the Chaplaincy will run an interactive poverty simulation on October 7 to raise awareness of the challenges low-income families go through.

During the simulation, participants role-play the lives of low-income families. According to the Community Action Poverty Simulation (CAPS) website, the simulation allows participants to get a glimpse of poverty from various angles in a pragmatic context.
