Meredith Ramirez Talusan, co-founder and director of the Ricefield Collective, earned a handful of insight and experience through her Kickstarer-backed social enterprise.

The Ricefield Collective is dedicated to generating supplemental income for women farmers in the Philippines by helping them produce and distribute handmade knit goods from sustainable-sourced organic wool. Talusan grew up in the Philippines and wanted to help women farmers sustain themselves through her social-purposed project.
